Hello,
I hereby do announce that the first British Contact Juggling Convention will take place on Friday 18th-Sunday 20th July 2003 in Thornhill Community Centre.
Where's that I hear you ask? Thornhill is a beautiful village near Stirling, next to one of Scotland's best national parks. The hall is big, has a stage, showers, kitchen etc. Price and pre-reg TBC very soon. I've asked Silver if he can put up a basic webpage on his site. It would be good to have a link to it from here too.
We're going to try and get 'Big Tom' from Germany over, if funding is good, to perform in the show. For people who don't know of Tom, he's a CJer me and Andy met in Rotterdam and he's got THE best, most polished technique we've EVER seen. Does anyone have his e-mail or number, I know Marco does but I haven't heard from him on this site for a while? Jago is interested in coming and so are a bunch of excellent CJers from London. Rich said he was keen to get his flight soon. I'm expecting Ferret, Mickey, Alan, Lao and Jonny (the Florida posse) to turn up! I also know some French CJers who want to come.
We're going to do our best to inform every juggling club in Europe of the event. This should be a very international and headpickling weekend of CJing.
Cheers
Daniel Kerr

Hello everybody,
Long time no see. Daniel and I are really excited about holding this conveniton, it's going to be amazing and I hope to see you all there. Since I'm from Thornhill, I though I'd pipe up and tell you all about it. Thornhill's a very small village right on the edge of Scotland's new National Park (see links). It has two pubs, both excellent places to drink (wasted childhood), one shop, a campsite and a parachute centre! The views from Thornhill of the surrounding area are stunning (as the name might suggest it's on a hill). Doune Castle, a few miles away, was used in the filming of Monty Python's "Holy Grail" ( it's that bit with the French giving abuse to King Arthur, and throwing cows at him) and the whole area is steeped in history, with too much to talk about now. Can't wait to see all the old faces and to meet the new, see ya at the party,
Andy.
